Heather McAndrews

Heather McAndrews earned her associate's degree in Animal Science and Technology from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in Colorado in 2011. After successfully passing the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE) in 2012, she became a certified veterinary technician.

With a deep commitment to lifelong learning, Heather has attended numerous conferences and continuing education courses, including the American College of Veterinary Surgeons Surgery Summit and annual leadership summits. Her passion for teaching and mentorship has made her a valuable resource to colleagues and students alike, as she continually shares her extensive knowledge of the veterinary field.

Heather’s dedication to education is further reflected in her authorship of a published medical paper featured in a veterinary textbook. In 2020, she expanded her impact globally by participating in a veterinary mission trip to Nicaragua, where she helped spay, neuter, and vaccinate underprivileged animals on Big Corn Island.

Today, Heather serves as the Clinical Training Manager at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, where she continues to lead with expertise, compassion, and a passion for professional development.
